To be honest, I'm not really anxious for Nora to start walking simply because I'm too lazy to chase her around everywhere. But, she took two steps yesterday toward me when I was on the phone with my aunt and I couldn't believe it!! We tried hard to get it on video and all we really got was her taking one step, then lunging. You have to catch her by surprise or else she won't do anything once the camera comes out. That's why it lags a bit...anyway, this is for our family to see (and friends who might care, too).

Can somebody explain to me how you can have your thermostat set on 63 degrees, but your electric bill continues to be out of control? And how in the world do you dispute it? I'm sorry, sir, but there is no way we used 136.4 G-1 Risidual Gas. I only documented 125. what?
anyone out there from memphis light, gas, and water? anyone?

We got to babysit my friend's baby, a.j., the other night...it was so much fun!

Lately Nora wants to be where the dogs are. She loves playing with the dogs and trying to say Daisy and Denver. It's cute how she points at them when we say "where's Daisy".
It's finally been cold enough to break out this cute hat I've been waiting to get a picture in. I thought she'd hate it, but when we put it on, Kevin and I started laughing so she just laughed along with us. It was too cute.

10 Months

Nora turned 10 months on the 1st and my how she has changed. A 10 month Nora is much more active (if that's possible), has several words she says such as "uh oh, mama, dada, oh, etc." It's so cute to watch her try and repeat the words you say to her. She can stand on her own when she's in the mood, and got a walker for Christmas that she's a pro on. She is in to everything! I'll have to say so far that 9 months has been my favorite, so we'll see if 10 can top it.

Some favorite foods right now are peas, tofu, chicken, and she loves nutrigrain bars of any kind. If she even sees the package she starts whining for one. She's a great eater, I've heard we're lucky because lots of babies are finicky when it comes to food. Only one more month on formula, so mom and dad are excited about that! Here's some pics of my big girl. We just had a visit from my parents and after they left I realized I didn't take one picture while they were here. We were too busy! So, as a shout out to them, here's Nora sporting her J-lo jumper they bought for her.
