Ok, this is not my child.

Apparently the zoo on wheels came to visit Nora's school and decided to bring the freaky pets out. Yes, that's Nora touching a roach the size of my hand. And, had I known a rat was that close to me (my office is about 20 yards away) I would have skipped work today. eek!

Nora and I took our annual trip to visit my friend, Candice, and her family during my fall break. We had such a big time!

A Very Random Update

I'm trying to figure out what to do with Nora's hair so we tried pigtails for a day. Not happenin, but thought this was cute. She's very much in the mullet stage so if you have suggestions, send them my way.

The other day Nora helped me make brownies. She even cleaned up afterward. She loves to cook with mom.

If you're thinking lately that I need to invest in more clothing than red, white, or navy, that's her school uniform and we usually don't come out of it until bath time. Unfortunately, that makes for many pictures in ugly clothes.


If I've heard "I wanna take pichure" once I've heard it a thousand times lately. Here's her latest "pichure". Tammie, before you leave a comment about how I misspelled picture, I did it on purpose.


We've had several play dates with AJ, aka Ashay. Those two make each other laugh and it's hilarious. They look at each other and start laughing. Too cute.
