This is why I don't worry about my dog's behavior once we have the baby. Here's a picture of them after we returned from Texas and they had been cooped up in a kennel for six days. Daisy was sprawled out like Denver until she got curious about what I was doing so she sat up. They were excited at first to see us, but this is their daily activity for the most part.

Things went well over the Holidays and I got to see my nephew. He's very sweet and incredibly small. Makes me look forward to the next few weeks. I've been speed reading and marathon sleeping as often as I can before those days are over for me. Today I felt a bit overwhelmed with things to do before the baby gets here. We still don't have a crib or stroller, carseat, etc.
I realize this can be done in one day (as Kevin always reminds me) but I'm not thinking very practical right now....only listing things in my head that need to be completed and the list keeps growing. Kevin also reminds me that most of those things aren't necessary (how could he think buying a cute lamp for the baby dresser is not necessary...) and that really all the baby needs is a crib and that's it. Oh well, 9 weeks is a long time and I know we'll get it all done....I'm just having a moment. We're allowed that once in a while.

We got a digital camera for Christmas so I'll hopefully put more pictures up soon once I figure out how to work it. I really can't think of anything to take pictures of besides my dogs, so sorry if you're not a dog fan. Just wait until March and then there will be less dog pictures, more Nora pictures. Until next time...

I'm laughing at your comments on the dogs. Is this the Angie that I know? Who has possessed her? I can't wait to see pics of little Nora on your blog. When are you due, by the way?

Sara,
Yes, it's me and I love my dogs. I used to hate all dogs, but now I love my dogs and my dogs only. I'm still not really one to let other dogs lick on me. Just mine. :)
I'm due in 9 weeks. March 5th!

When I was freaking out about having so much to do and buy and finish my mom reminded me that the only thing the baby REALLY needs is YOU. That's it! Not even the crib! Isn't that kind of comforting? Maybe a little scary, but mostly comforting.

But just CALL ME if I can help you do anything. xoxox.
