Well, we're finally back from Texas and although it's good to be home, it was so much fun being with my family. Nora is in detox right now from being held so much. If I lay her down for two seconds now she starts screaming bloody murder. There's plenty more pictures to share but the freaking blogger people don't want me to share them for some reason.

We got together with my extended family so they could meet Nora and the boys played guitar while the girls talked and caught up
Luckily Kevin's sister who lives in Amarillo was in town with my neice and was surprised that we were in the metroplex as well. She got to meet Nora for a quick hug and kiss. She has never seen her and is the only one of Kevin's siblings that hadn't, so she was thrilled for this moment.
We got to have lunch with Chelsea, a college roommate of mine...her daughter Kendyll fell in love with Nora and I know the feeling was mutual. Carlie is there somewhere, she just wasn't in the picture mood. :) I'm so glad Chels got to meet Nora. We've been friends forever and it's always neat when one of your long time friends meets your baby for the first time.

What a busy girl Nora has been! She needs to meet her Auntie Candy.
We had such a good time getting to hug and kiss on Nora. Kendyll is still talking about her and how pretty she is!! I agree with you--it's so neat to watch our kids together knowing the friendship that their mommies share. I can only hope and pray that my girls find friends like you've been to me, girl. :) Love you and your sweet baby girl!

Sounds like a great trip! That "detoxing" is called "degrandparenting" in our house. I would like to say it gets better but it doesn't. My mom just left from visiting and I know I won't have my kids back until a few days from now. Just the nature of the beast.
Hey, now!! I DID put her down some. I'm SURE it was that Pappaw that spoiled her. We had a great time and LOVED every minute of it. Mammaw
