I feel like I should document this week because it's been extremely new. This will be boring for most so I put three cute pictures for you to look at instead of reading. It's just for when I bind this blog one day and give it to Nora when she's twenty. . .
Sleeping: Much better. Now, though, I lay Nora down on her back and sometimes I go check on her and she's turned sideways shoved up against her crib bumper ...sometimes with her face buried into the bumper. Eeesh. She falls asleep much quicker now which is a-w-e-s-o-m-e.
Less we have to ignore the screaming.
Eating: She now eats cereal twice a day and recently started eating a jar of bananas so far (we've only started one jar food). But this morning she downed one jar so I'm assuming she'll want another one tonight. I just found out bananas are a natural laxative which explains why she's pooing everytime I feed her again. It's like she's a newborn all over...I change her diaper and she poops again. Anyway, I started to puree my own food (it's funny I wrote that line and realized I have been cooking carrots for about an hour and forgot about them so I had to dash into the kitchen. Kevin always tells me to set the timer and I never do...I think to prove that I can multi-task...I've lost my mojo.) Anyway, tonight she's getting burned carrots. Kidding.. they were fine. I am with my sister on this one..she said she hates giving them the same thing for a week like they say. She said, who wants to eat the same thing every day. I'm trying her on carrots tonight and giving her colon a break from the bananas.
Rolling over: Yesterday she rolled from her stomach to her back and then to her stomach again. I got out the video camera and she did it again, which is a big deal because she always freezes when the camera comes out.
This and that: We sold one of our cars since I'm going part time and we are in between cars now. I have been picking Kevin up from work and it sucks. He keeps sending me on errands like I'm sitting around eating chocolate all day. He's sick so my errands have been 1. get cough drops and gatorade and bring them to his work 2. fed ex something for him 3. get an energy drink and bring it because he took thera-flu and it made him drowsy. I'm serious.
All the women out there are laughing because they relate when their husbands are sick. In his defense, he has been working non-stop on our flower bed outside coming off of a week long vacation in Texas. We've literally been to Texas three times in one month so we're all tired. But, I still don't have time or energy for errands of my own, much less his. Anyone want to sell us a car??? :)
Also, I'm starting back to work tomorrow again. This time I'm going back part time. I have mixed feelings about this. I'm so happy I'll have more time with Nora, so sad I don't have all day like I've been used to all month, happy to get back to work and out of the house...I miss everyone there and being connected to something, and I'm a bit stressed trying to fit a full time job into part time. I'll need lots of prayers.
I think that about sums it up. I also think that's the longest post I've ever written short of the time I went crazy and wrote about it. I'm doing fine now...hormones have regulated. kevin may disagree, but I think I'm back to normal.
By the way, Gap Kids is having a good sale right now...they seriously have things for $2 there. Also my sister says Albertsons has 48 Huggies diapers size 2 for $5. Gotta help each other out with the sales...we don't even have Albertsons in Tennessee so somebody mail me some diapers. ha!

I love this child's eyes!! They just grab ya. Thanks for the tips on the sales...I'll have to check that out. Maybe they'll have size 4 diapers on sale too! Glad things are getting better for you all. Good luck going back to work. What do you do anyway? And where's Kevin working?
Thanks, that's funny..I say the same thing about your daughter's eyes to Kevin every time I see a picture of her. She's beautiful!
I'm a junior high guidance counselor and Kevin works for an insurance company as a liability adjuster. :)
Love the Volvo. It is a babe magnet. Congrats.
Good luck at work today. I will be thinking of you! She is so precious and getting so big. I can't believe it!
So glad to hear about the progress little Nora is making. Sounds like things are falling into place. I get you on the work thing. If it helps, it gets easier to "want to go back" with baby #2. Also, I hate to tell you this, but bananas are constipating but they do make you gassy. Good luck this week.
