1 Down......

When I began my 5th year at ACU I remember my dad saying that I was on my own. Both our parents paid what they could during our college (which we are thankful for), but going to ACU ain't cheap. So, we have some school loans. And by some I mean a lot. So that's why today is a big day. My 5th year, 9 years after the fact, is now paid off. Sweet relief. 2 more to go.....

When we first married we traveled and had our fun, which is good, but thanks to Mr. Dave Ramsey, we're a bit more disciplined now and we're gettin' straight!

It's been a busy week with Angie starting full time work again. That's really cut into my fantasy football preparations. I'm in 5 leagues. I need help! Ang really does work extremely hard and sacrifices so much for our family.

The big news for this week, though, is that we went to our first "meet the teacher" night. That's very strange for me especially since Nora is only 17 months. But it's officially here. Monday, Nora will start school. Let the sentimental oozing begin. It's crazy how fast it goes. She'll be down the hall from Angie so that will be really cool and I know Nora will have a great time. You can for sure expect pictures of her first day soon. Uniform and all.

Yea for y'all! What an awesome feeling. I love the picture of the burnt loan. I am excited for that day to come! I can't wait to see Nora all dressed up in her uniform!

Bro - Thanks for rubbing it in about the student loans. Some of us are still paying off year one. But then again, Harvard undergrad and Yale law are kind of expensive...

Seriously, worship this morning was awesome. Was it your input that influenced some of those more mellow songs? As usual, your electric guitar had me bawling like a baby.

Congrats on paying off student loans! As lame as this may sound, Brad and I read D R's 'Financial Peace" on our Honeymoon...it feels so good to be rid of debt. Let me know how Nora's first day goes. We miss you guys!!!

Chris, what I didnt mention was that this was the smallest of the 3loans. VERY small considering the others. Still feels good but we have a ways to go! And you mean Harding and not Harvard right? I think you just misspelled it.

I am but an instrument... The Spirit was there yeserday for sure....Thanks for saying so.
