Catch Up
Over labor day weekend we flew to Houston and got to spend time with Kevin's family. Nora loved finding hiding spots in Nana and Ganga's house and playing with "toys" like towels and such. She also loved spending time with Aunt Lolo and cousin Ethan. She'd constantly walk around going "Ethan, where are you?" We were also blessed to be able to spend time with Mamaw who came up from Saginaw, and Mr. Culpepper, a dear family friend. It was a busy weekend (we even caught a high school football game and the boys caught a Texas A&M game to watch cousin Austin in the corp (specifically the calvary...the guys that shoot the canon at the A&M game) and we're so thankful for our safe trip and can't wait until we can return.
Just a few random things about Nora. She's really into coloring. She'll draw on anything at any time (ie. see our couch) but it cracks me up some of the places she's been choosing to draw. She's pretty good about keeping it on paper for the most part, but has her moments.
We got to attend Rock n Romp this weekend, which Nora loves to do. "Thanks Mr. Chris for showing me how to mark on my nose, I even managed to get it inside my nose" Love, Nora.
I'll leave you with Kevin's sidewalk chalk art. Read closely.

How sweet (and really nasty at the same time). I love the pics of Nora! Give her a kiss from Tammie, lots of talking from Bryce, smile from Scott and screaming from Brayden.
Seriously, you have to get over the fact that you didn't get to pick the name for me and start spelling it correctly. The way you spell it, the accent is all wrong. (If you want to change it I'll gladly be Grandma!) Love, MAMMAW :)
Then you would be the THIRD Grandma, so no, unless you want to be Grandma Doo Doo (instead of da da).
:)
I refuse to spell it with two M's. I'm going with somethinng else. Not sure what, but something cute. Just be prepared for anything.
I'll spell "something" with two n's but not mamaw with two m's.
Hmmph. :)
Ok, enough family chatter! This is Pat Pat and I think little Nora is so cute and sweet in her pictures. She is getting so big and is so smart. I love the pics where she is halfway under the couch and on the table. How funny! and about that last picture, maybe I was ready to read something more into it. When you said "Read closely" I thought you were going to write = another little one! Are you trying to tell us something?
Love to all!
Patti
oh and Tammie! maybe someday I will get to meet you. It seems every time you come to town, we aren't around.
Hi Angie! I found your blog through another ACU-er and have loved taking a peek at cutie pie Nora!
